I'm big into Atlantis conspiracies. I'm convinced Atlantis was some great white nation tens of thousand of years ago in north west Africa. "The Flood" occurred, which I think was some asteroid hitting the glaciers. Watch some Randall Carlson videos on it. He's been researching it for decades. Anyway, this flood destroyed Atlantis, causing the inhabitants to flee. Some went to Egypt, some to Ireland, etc...
