There are 8000 year old covered pyramids/mausoleums/trapezoidal burial mounds in China in Xi'an province that are presently not open to the public. They are trying to excavate the area to gain access without collapsing the structure and destroying the contents inside.
It may still be a few decades before they are open, unfortunately.
