When I went to trade school in Long Beach California it was mostly black kids there. Most of them did average on the testing and lots of goofing off during class.
However, the real difference was where I lived at an apartment. It was almost all black and there was frequent drama. Two things that kind of shocked me. First was seeing a man strangle his wife in public and then a woman fending off her husband with a huge knife. I was glad when I graduated with top of class scores and got the fuck out of there.
