He kind of comes off as an Australian that came to America and found free speech. Then he handed free speech 20 bucks and took her in a dark alley. Unspeakable Acts were committed. I think it's more likely that he's in attention whore. Saying such shocking things, to such unsuspecting and random people got him all the attention he wanted. (And if he was raided,) some of the attention he did not expect. (The rumor was he was raided by the FBI.)

I agree with your middle finger assessment. The reactions of the people he talks to are pretty unbelievable. Free speech shouldn't be so shocking, it should be expected and understood for what it is.
It's a use it or lose it kind of thing. If you bow to social pressure even though you have a right in theory, pretty soon you won't have that right in practice. Guys like him are useful for keeping the door open, although I don't think it would be useful to have a society where everyone went around trying to be as offensive and pro-conflict as possible all of the time.
lol, I sat back and kept looking at what I wrote and it kept becoming a run on stream of consciousness with lots of cuss words. It was not very coherent.
I remember listening to an interview with him some time back and he seemed like he was a little more normal, I should've damn known.
