No scurvy, turns out your body makes vitamin C from animal fat, naturally. You don’t need to eat vitamin C, your body can make it.

Absolute hogwash. Humans along with chimps and a few other animals all don't make their own vitamin c and must get it from external sources. High dose vitamin C is a damn miracle. Look a the works of Linus Pauling. Sugar is bad but don't delude yourself about vitamin C. You can cure heart disease and even cancer if it's caught soon enough with high dose vitamin c. With cancer, the vit c must be intravenous.

On the internet nobody knows you're a cat.

I’m not going to argue with you.Just let you know, I haven’t consumed any fruit, nor any traditional source of vitamin c in 2 years. I’m fine. I have sought ought more fat in my diet. Marbilized meat is my favorite.

There is vitamin C in some meat--especially organs. It's not just a fruit thing. It's also in vegetables.

Listen, don't be moronic and hurt yourself. I agree that sugar is VERY bad. Take a multivitamin and EVERYONE should be taking at least 3000mg (3 grams) of vitamin C a day.

I have had multiple dogs get cancer in their old age after losing the ability to make vit C. Vets gave them weeks to live and I put them on high dose liposomal vit c and had them live several more years. There were many other health benefits during that time--especially in the eyes.

I kindly disagree. It’s been two years no fruit, no sugar, no vitamin C. No scurvy. I eat plenty of fatty meats. I’m not suffering or lacking. I’m halfway through my third year on a full protein diet. No issues yet. Old time sailors from the past suffered from scurvy within a year of being at sea.
