I'm guessing the blood is from falling on broken glass. Are you talking about the soot he leaves on the wall from his face? Or that jacket insulation in his hair? I'm guessing he blacked out from alcohol inhalation and lack of oxygen. But its hard to say how much flame was touching his front. His entire jacket shell melts, and it's likely his shirt/jacket were on fire in front. I wonder how bad his face got burned, it was pretty red and that was a lot of soot.
