Oh shit, that looked like a darwin award. The moment he collapsed into the flames was nightmare fuel.
I think maybe he was planning to firebomb something and fucked the timing up.
Nah I think he was going out to smoke and sip some everclear. That would be a lot of high-proof alcohol to drink for some though.
He probably thought he'd be cool and light it before blowing it out & taking a sip.
Oh and about pressing the button for an earlier floor, he tried. He was trying to kick the panel with his foot because he was protecting his hands. It didn't work.
He was drinking burnin' liquor and wanted to light his smoke with it. He was much more on fire than the video shows as you can see his jacket melt. He was drunk as a skunk. At least, he took his fire with him. If he didn't get help right then, he probably did croak.
Oh I could tell. Ethanol has a very clear flame. You could tell how much combustion was going on by how quickly it used up all the air and he passed out.
I think the only smart thing he did was ripping off his jacket and using it as an impromptu fire blanket. Probably bought him those few seconds he needed at the end to revive with the fresh air being sucked into the lift and GTFO.
Wonder if he survived.
