Well, that was the topic, bro.
If someone says Portuguese are the tallest people in Europe, I'm going to have to disagree. Any other "obstacles" that we face has nothing to do with the topic. I really don't know why you're so confused/bothered by this.
It's not like the Irish or Slavs have low IQ on average, they're simply low average from Europe. That still puts them towering above the rest of the world (excluding Asians).
It's not always easy to asses motivation over text, but I like to assume people are speaking in good faith until evidenced otherwise.
