Even more magic starts to happen at 30 hours. Neuroplasticity / neurogenesis increases. There's a reason they starve people to deprogram brainwashing, it's not to weaken them, it helps you see things in different ways.

Does it need to be a total fast or can you juice/water?

Water is fine, no juice. Plain tea and black coffee is also ok.

Euphoria sets in for a while in some people at about that time frame.

At 72 hours, you reset your entire immune system...

Fasting is incredible for your blood pressure and can address T2 Diabetes.

Yes Fasting allows your body to use up all the free glucose in the blood stream and then it uses up the stores of glucose in the liver... From there the body will start to liquidate and use the glucose stores we call fat.

And LOSE the fat if it is needed to be gone...

i just wonder how intermittent fasting works with supplements and such.

No. I went through a computer nerd spree where my diet was coffee and oatmeal for breakfast, oatmeal for lunch, and jacks links plus diet coke for dinner. Went from 185 to 155 in two months. Got a scrawny hillbilly six pack with veins showing up in my shoulders and pecks. Didn't work out. Then a few months later I started eating and lifting and found my max bench went from 265 to 155, and I was winded on stairs. But the point is, eating a little didn't seem to upset the fast. At the time I rationalized not working out cause the previous time I ate so little I found myself prone to injury and to quit exercises one by one until I was basically just going for a walk. Make sure you get a feast once in a while and do work out.
