not true we also have pretty mild to warm winters here which the only difference is the humidity scale. as a matter of fact,this winter is one of the coldest so far in about 5 years, i think
Well, for the 14 years I lived in South Florida it's been a thing. Perhaps you are in a different part of FL.

i live in miami dade and believe me our winters are not usually that cold every year. where are you located? palm beach,broward? if so those counties up north can be cooler than miami dade and monroe counties
I lived in Palm Beach but worked in Broward. It was a big deal because the Haitians would get all excited. They would pick em off the ground and bring them home to eat.
