I lived in Palm Beach but worked in Broward. It was a big deal because the Haitians would get all excited. They would pick em off the ground and bring them home to eat.

that explain things, like i said broward up north it tends to get cooler than miami dade because usually cold fronts can stall in our area because we are fully tropical whereas broward and points north are subtropical and that makes alot of difference
