the human brain is not as elegant an organ as we often credit it for. Lots of evolutionary fuckups, sudden spurts of growth and development, stagnation, dead ends... the limbic and cerebellum (emotion/rational) don't communicate well. Cognitive dissonance is how fallacies remain stubbornly stuck, like the leftists in the video
