I see cognitive dissonance due to loss aversion, a most extreme chemical addiction responsible for the narcissistic filter bubble all are exhibiting. It is more powerful than heroin or nicotine and is more potently dangerous because the addicted is plagued by a drug that their narcissistic state disables them from detecting.
