Looks like they got camera shots of multiple churches in case they needed plausible deniability or to protect themselves (better protect themselves) in case something were to happen due to soviet era fears probably.
Opening scene shows Catholic Cathedrals (Christian churches) 3 times and the last closing scenes show Catholic Cathedrals (Christian churchs) 4 times.
Not sure though. Could be both. Owner was a Catholic. He joined the marine core by mistake to as well thinking it was the army. Figure I know why on that one alone without even trying to explain that.

IDK much on this topic myself other than some dates and such though and maybe overall social type stuff and a bit of economic type stuff to as well.
Be nice if we had something like that in the U.S. or at least The Holy Bible being the national book.
It doesn't have to be a church and I don't trust churches exactly, but it would be just fine with a Holy Bible. Catholic preferably.
If not a full NIV type Holy Bible with the Catholic books in it.
