The difference is that Bloomberg has a virtually unlimited campaign war chest. He doesn't have to go after donors and donors won't go to other candidates if his polling changes. If Bernie slides too far in the polls he's done. Bloomberg is going to bide his time and let the dems destroy each other.

You could be right. My way of thinking is that he will try to appeal to those rank and file Dems who aren't as far left as the party is leaning.
