Funny I was wearing a shirt like his today for work. I've been in construction for about seven years and a lot of the guys have no other options because of life choices. Many such as myself made our choices and found our refuge in construction and really shouldn't give a hit if some snooty fucker scoffs at our attire as we made our choices. I respect people who can put up with modern day rules of the workplace. Completely different note https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xWVxI6XZAuE
As a new blue collar worker I get dirty as shit every day I'm not forced into it I chose it. It pays decent and I don't have to wear dress close everyday and I'm learning how to actually fix shit on my own how to actually do things I would need to if the power ever went out.
It's new to you and a change. I've worked with guys who smoke meth through the day to get through at 62 and laboring. I've worked with good family men and all in between but there are a lot of low class people in construction.
