I was commenting on the pig's mental and emotional state. Just listen to his tone of voice - he's clearly terrified for his life somehow even though the guy his was after was trying to keep things cool. I've never even once in my life been in such a heightened emotional delusion as that pig was as he smashed in the window and screamed at the guy.

At that time, Officer Dan Lesser asked Officer Scott Lesser to retrieve his police K9. Officer Dan Lesser ordered Ellerman to come out multiple times and Ellerman did not comply.
He was trying to avoid getting shot because his warning backfired and the pig became more scared and dangerous in response. Sending the dog in was a reasonable choice at that point. Again, he's lucky as fuck they didn't light him up instead.
