I said this when they first mentioned the name of it, and laughed how everyone was freaking out about it. I still call it the dreaded cold virus. One of the first things you learn in medical school is about coronaviruses, and how they are the fastest mutating virus on earth. That's why there's no vaccine for the common cold - because it mutates from host to host. Your cold is personal, no one else will ever quite have the same cold. My medical textbooks say this too, but it has been wiped off the internet otherwise. Everyone who has done the slightest study in medicine should know this though... it disturbs me how many just went with the "oh its gonna kill us all" narrative.

Yeah, my wife said the same thing right off the bat when I started telling her about the outbreaks in China. She called it as propaganda day 1.
