Not nearly as easy as it was back then when you have multibillionaires buying massive chunks of farmland...

The biggest owner of farmable land is Bill Gates. Nose check.

Oyyyyy veyyyyyy!! Soymeat is what every young boy whose lost their schmeckle should eat!!

This is true. BUT you can grow a TON of food on a much much much smaller lot than people realize. I highly recommend everyone check out the book "The market gardener" by JM Fortier. It's inspiring

Boomers are the worst generation to have ever lived.

[+] [deleted] 3 pts

There are great individuals in that generation. As a whole, they’re selfish, spoiled, entitled, and never dealt with the consequences of their stupid ideas.

They utterly destroyed society and don’t even understand that they did. They need to just shut up already but they are still fucking us over with COVID paranoia. Liberal Boomer grandmas with cats are some of the dumbest people on earth. It’s impossible to reach them.

My dad is awesome and he's a boomer. Fuck you

I doubt he's awesome.

Who exactly cares what you think?

He was held face down in a pillow while he typed that

Say I wanted to do this, where would be a place with good climate, and low taxes? And how much do you think you would have to put down? Cause I am at the stage in my life where I am getting ready to purchase a house. I don't want to make a decision I will regret, too much money is involved.

Sea colony.

Everywhere can work if you have the means. The book "Four Season Harvest" by Elliot Coleman shows how you can grow food in even the coldest climates with some hoop houses and frost cloth. With what ice age farmer is saying about the grand solar minimum, even the desert Southwest might turn out to be ok with some shade cloth and serious rain harvesting or a well..

Grand Solar Minimum will be our salvation.

I just want like 30 acres, 50 tops. I just want enough for some animals and a pond for fishing and swimming.

Idaho, Wyoming, Texas, or the Dakotas. Research the governments first.

I personally am planning to just put a pool in instead of the swimming hole. I've had too many skin issues because of water itch or flood where swamps over flowed into the ponds with legal swimming areas and no one warned any of us.

Meme sums up the sentiments of a good portion of people on here, that are sick of living with zero opportunities and constantly around ethnic scum.

This one hits home.
