My mother does believe six million jews were murdered by the Germans.
You said “nobody” believes that. It’s not true in my observation, because my mother does.
She also believes five million others were murdered. But that fact is secondary.
No-one insists they were all “gassed”. The exact mechanism of death isn’t really a matter of concern to anyone on either side, as far as I can tell.
