My mother *does* believe *six million jews* were murdered by the Germans. You said “nobody” believes that. It’s not true in my observation, because my mother does. She *also* believes five million *others* were murdered. But that fact is secondary. No-one insists they were all “gassed”. The exact mechanism of death isn’t really a matter of concern to anyone on either side, as far as I can tell.
