I've lived around Eastern Ohio and Western PA amish my entire life. Worked with and beside them. Watched them sell non-brethren customers lumber they knew was bad. Had to run deliveries to them in Millersburg only to have them refuse to speak English to me and refuse the delivery because they don't like the English people (then call the store and tell my boss that I didn't want to deliver to them.) Listened to them bitch about having to pay sales tax on a purchase in our store, only to turn around have have them curse at me in Swiss German thinking I didn't understand they were calling me a bastard. You understand when you see the problems they have that they keep in the society, see them in a hospital getting a kid treated because he needs regular UV therapy to alleviate the unusual skin issue he has because mommy was his father's first cousin. You're free to believe the media at your own risk and think they're a clean, puritan people - but understand they hate you just as much as jews do, you're simply a convenient source of cash and cars for them.
