As an analogy for protein syntesis, think of your DNA as a recipe book in the library (nucleus) and you use a photocopier (transcription) to get a recipe (mRNA), take it to the kitchen (cytoplasm), and use it to make apple pie (protein/antigens). Putting extra DNA or mRNA in the library doesn’t modify your original recipe book!
Last time I checked my food didn't contain a recipe book, let alone a library. Our cells are being remade all the time based on the information contained within them. Messing with that is very dangerous; letting corporations mess with that is asinine.
