The vaccine contains a weakened strain of the vesicular stomatitis virus (VSV) that has been altered to contain a gene from the Ebola virus.

So its not an ebola virus, its some other virus with an ebola gene. Glad its not an actual ebola virus

Ebola is in the future. Shedding live viruses for 28 days, these health workers & doctors should stay away from babies, and already sick patients with weak immune systems.
