The Boomer is immunized against all variants: One may call him obese, diabetic, sedentary, senile, it all runs off him like water off a raincoat. But call him not up to date on his boosters and you will be astonished at how he recoils, how injured he is, how he suddenly shrinks back: "I thought Medicare covered that"
American Association of Retarded People.
Just remember that AARP is owned and controlled by the far left.
I see them like the facebook of it's day. They appear to provide you a benefit but they're really there to do nothing but collect data, sell it, and then sell you the results from their partners and advertisers.
BTW, IIRC, there is a right wing equivalent but I don't recall the organization's name.
All of those old people clubs are just scam and spam wrapped up with shit-colored ribbon.
Ohio has one called the Golden Buckeye Club. It's nothing more than a lock-in program in disguise, and it even states that one of the benefits to the partner organizations is "In return cardholders become loyal and faithful customers."

What's the advantage of an old people's club anyway besides discounts and covid shots?
From what I know of them that sounds like a very apt description.
Love the top comment.
AARP is helping seniors like Planned Parenthood is helping babies.
I didn't know these idiots were up to 8 shots now. Holy crap!
Soon to be a couple million less members.
I used to write Return to Sender on their mailers and drop them back in the mail. I don't think I've gotten anything from them for a while
If it's not first class letter mail, it just gets tossed at the post office.
You still get the satisfaction of knowing it has to go through processing again before they toss it. Wastes their time twice. Nowdays, if you don't write anything on it and don't cross out the barcodes, it could potentially come back to you forever. Some post offices are really bitchy and will pull tape off of envelopes to see the address underneath, even if you stamp "RETURN TO SENDER" on it.
The AARP exists to sell things to old people. There will be more old people. Maybe.
