I noticed that even the super-jabbies I work with have kind of quieted down. I told one about a friend's parents who have covid (so they say) yet again, and she said nothing other than kind of looked away in that "don't want to make myself look a fool" way.

I think that they are mostly upset that they didn't get to implement their digital currency attached to a digital ID with full social credit system. The prospect of that really had those tyrants erect.

They will try again, maybe with another "pandemic" or maybe a "climate emergency"

They've learned from this mistake. We'll see if they use what they learned.

If they do, it's going to be really bad - but we can take heart that they seem very unorganized, and the left tends to eat itself when one side has the wrong pronoun.
