While I agree with almost everything you said it’s only if you pick through the seeds to get the gmo ones, like the guy in Canada who did it with his soybeans.
But they’d ruined his generational old seeds from cross pollination so he picked out the modified ones and used those, if he’d just planted without sorting he would’ve won.
