I agree. I don’t want them to die, but I do want them to wise up. An apology would be nice, too, but it’s not required. It would only show who has integrity and who doesn’t. Someone can be wrong and still possess integrity.
In any case, uniting against the actual criminals far outweighs my feelings over any personal slights I’ve endured.
There still needs to be accountability and justice, I’ll never change my mind on that. But it’s those who actually are in positions of power who need to be held to account, not the everyday sheep. The everyday sheep are already reaping what they’ve sown. And even then, I hope many of them can avoid their own harvests of ignorance, so long as they’ve learned something from all of this.
