From you can see excess all cause mortality for Japan was negative in 2020. It started going positive in late 2021 and it got much worse in 2022.
A lot of those excess deaths in 2022 are likely COVID-19 related, which has in 2022.
If they are stopping the vaccination campaign because of rising COVID-19 deaths it’s an atypical response. Someone important over there must be looking at data comparing vaccinated people to vaccine free people and connecting the dots.
If this isn’t a reporting backlog from the new year then Japan has partially regained its senses. I’d love to see them take the next step and openly hold everyone responsible for those products accountable. One country taking Pfizer to trial could be the first domino that tips the whole row.
