You do know that the vaccines (plural) did not start to get rolled out in huge numbers until Q2 2021, right?
You do know that the Q1 jump is due to the very much deadlier variant of the SARS-CoV-2, the Delta Variant, right?
If it was the vaccine that caused that spike, you'd see it on the Q2 and much worse on the Q3 bars, not Q1 bar.
Here is the US and Germany vaccination numbers over time.

You're welcome for this amazing knowledge.

7 million Germans got the vaccine in Q1 2021. The old and vulnerable got it first and they died like flies.
You do know that the Q1 jump is due to the very much deadlier variant of the SARS-CoV-2, the Delta Variant, right?
The Wuhan variant was the deadliest, Delta was much less harmful and most people who got the Wuhan variant were immune against Delta.
7 million Germans got the vaccine in Q1 2021. The old and vulnerable got it first and they died like flies.
They didn't and they didn't. More than 75 million got the vaccine in Q2. Where were all the "dying like flies" numbers in Q2?
You know what is "dose dependent" between these 2 variables? The concentration of Delta variant positive tests. The death figures vary directly with the Delta figures. Not the vaccination rates. There's your correlation.
The Wuhan variant was the deadliest
No it wasn't and that's the Alpha variant.
The Delta variant, and it's offshoots, were the deadliest variants:

Delta was much less harmful and most people who got the Wuhan variant were immune against Delta.
Not true and we have the death figures to support this. We have the seroprevalence studies that verifies we did not reach population saturation until end of 2021, early Q1 2022. Here's our seroprevalence data over time:
https://www.cdc.gov/mmwr/volumes/71/wr/mm7117e3.htm#
Despite seroprevalence, people still died a LOT. Even those previously infected. Because Delta sucked massive donkey ass. Omicron was worse in that it bypassed immunity (both acquired and natural) but it was far less deadly. Some people who were perfectly healthy got sick with Delta and Omicron multiple times.
More than 75 million got the vaccine in Q2
But the sick and old (hospitals and nursing homes) got vaccinated first. They died like sick and old people die all the time, but now we see the numbers from one German health insurance company that show that the cause of death changed suddenly.
The Delta variant, and it's offshoots, were the deadliest variants
The studies rely on the case-fatality rate that relies on the measurement of cases. The number of cases was more dependent on the test rate than on the number of infections.
New variants are almost always less deadly because to spread a virus, the host must survive and run around.
Some people who were perfectly healthy got sick with Delta and Omicron multiple times.
The infection with the Wuhan variant could not protect 100% against a Delta infection, but could protect against severe symptoms. Wuhan protected 100% against Wuhan and Delta 100% against both. Only people with a compromized or suppressed immune system got reinfected.
Everybody got Omicron within weeks and most people didn't realize it. Only people with a compromized or suppressed immune system and vaccinated people get reinfected. All vaccinated people react with a set of anti-Wuhan antibodies against Omicron and many of them don't learn to create new anti-Omicron antibodies (antigenic imprinting) - they are the reason why Omicron still exists.
