We had a literal Baby Boom that started in 1945. The average lifespan of a North American is about 79 years. 2022-1945=77. If you are capable of doing simple arithmetic, then you can see that we are beginning entry into a Death Boom. In two years, that Death Boom will be in full swing, and will remain so for about twenty years, until the post-War population spike has been accounted for. Millions of extra births between 1945-1965 means plenty of extra deaths between 2024-2044.
