Apparently there is a report showing traffic accidents went up during the pandemic (even as overall traffic went down due to lock downs and working from home). The “expert” consensus is that people generally went crazy. I remember discussions here from people who drive saying they have to watch other drivers like a hawk now because they are prone to do the most ridiculous things at any moment. People pulling out without checking at all, drifting into the oncoming lane; that sort of thing.
