They won't. Got a local company here that's had a single-point contact product technician (you're the only person in the USA working with this) and it's been open for about 6 months. Even with the threat of Intel and associated businesses sopping up talent, they refuse to pay more than a basic technician salary. That's just one example, but the story is similar among a number of contacts I received. Can't find anyone, won't pay anything.
