Welcome to Arizona, Nevada. Probably not Oregon.
It depends, I don’t think Oregon has went to that extreme. It’s pretty good with healthcare except the vax mandate and giving only a few exemptions to non-Christians. Even naturopaths can prescribe most medications except opioids.
And has physician assisted suicide, don't they?
For decades, I believe. I just looked it up 1997.
I remember after a car accident I got a prescription from an extremely old doctor for Seconal, I went and got it filled at a private local pharmacy since nobody else had it in stock.
They all watched me the entire time and were extremely nice and weird acting when talking to me lmao.
I mentioned it to somebody and they said that’s the medication they prescribe for assisted suicide “death with dignity”.
So I looked it up and I found the original story of the first person prescribed the medication to kill himself since he was slowly dying. He said he may or may not use it but it’s an option if it becomes bad.
It’s weird, I’d forgotten we had that law until the Brittany Maynard saga. I didn’t pay attention to it but I thought she was fighting to die, not that she moved from California so she could kill herself.
