No pureblood mice studied. Fully vaxed is the new, "control"
What do they mean "irrelevant data"? The entire procedure went something like this:
Bob and Ron, both FDA-approved scientists, entered their lab last week. Bob said, "Ron, go shoot a couple of the rats with this garbage," as he handed Ron a vial. Ron asked, "How much should I give 'em?" Bob answered, "Just a drop." So, Ron goes in the back, shoots up a couple mice, and then Bob and Ron leave for the night. The next morning our boot-licking pair return to the lab. Bob leans back in his chair and starts reading a graphic porno novel, as he directs Ron to go to the back and check on the jabbed rats. Ron goes back into the lab, and returns a minute later. Bob asks, "So Ron, how are the rats?" Ron replies, "Well, both of them are keeled over on their side, staring blankly into space. Their hearts are beating erratically, and they are panting heavily." Bob asks, "So, they're still alive." Rod nods affirmatively. Bob smiles and states, "Well then, the experiment is consistent and a complete success. Don't bother collating any data, we'll do that later if someone asks. I'll write up a short email confirming the proposed vaccine's success and we can both leave early today and hit the bar."
And that friends is either exactly or close to how the research was actually conducted.
(edited to reformat and make more east to read)
I think you have too many steps in there, mostly about actually putting the stuff into mice. I suspect it was all made up.
