My triple vaxxed brother is sick, again.

I don't know what I'll do if he gets really sick.

I don't think I would do a good job of taking care of my nephews, but there are no other options.

He is a single father. Our mom is too old to do it. Our father is an asshole.

I don't think I have the resources to properly take on those kids.

But I worry about it.

If you really think that's a possibility, then you're better off getting started now - at least be ready. Find out things like medical record locations, bank accounts, insurance policies, anything you think you'd need to take over care. You may even want to consider taking out a life insurance policy on him, since you (by way of possibly taking over care of his kids) have an insurable interest in him.

I wonder how much being triple poison-gene-therapied increases life insurance premiums. The insurance companies must have noticed by now.

One would think right? But they will still write you a home owners policy for beach front property when global warming is sure to destroy it.

My sister in laws father died when she was 10 or 11, her aunt that took her in got survivor benefits or something like that from social security until she turned 18 or graduated college.

That was like 15 years ago and her dad was a dead beat and the benefits were about 1300 a month. All the dead beat relatives wanted to take her in for that check.
