In addition it would make the disabled nations very dependent upon able-bodied nations for imports of products and services. Nations like the United Kingdom would no longer be able to assert their independence from Europe, since they will be wholly dependent on Europe for survival. But a disabled nation can only import products and services while their savings last. Once the money runs out then the nation dies. Loaning money is not an option, since a nation that is almost completely disabled is unable to pay back."
