Reminds me of what a veterinarian told me back probably 30 years ago when I had a very ill cat. She suspected the cat may have had a coronavirus but there were no vaccines available because "they just can't make them". Possibly the mutability of coronaviruses in general? That everything from plants to humans can be infected by them? Really makes you consider that flu shots probably don't really work all that well either...
