1 death out of 900 isn't really that suspicious under normal circumstances. These aren't normal circumstances, however.

The fever is a concern, 99 people of the sample having that reaction seems to be indicative of a problem, especially considering 104°F is in the danger area.

I am sure that the booster causing 104 fever would not kill a different person. Thank you for talking me down.

I think you could reasonably expect a death in 1000 people. In this case it probably was the vax, tho.
