Note that the analysis assumes that VAERs events are under-reported at a rate of 20 to 1. While it's a reasonable (and IMO generous) assumption, I'd caution against citing this study in an attempt to convince someone who is not already suspicious of the vax.

Absolutely. This is simply another stick to add to the fire. The article is careful to say it's suggested this happens.

Ok, if it is deadlier for people under 80 how can it be ok for people over 80?

It's not, it's just that your chances of dying from any respiratory disease increases dramatically when you're over 80. A mild cold can kill you at that point. So more people died from the supposed 'vids simply because that's how old people work.

I understand that. What I am trying to point out is something that is so bad for young people surely can't be good for old people, esp. when by "young people" we mean anyone under 80.

That is true, but the article is only speaking about your risk of dying from A vs B.

You could certainly imply that's what it means, but the article doesn't really talk a whole lot about the relative worth of the injections, just the death from cause.
