No one, I literally mean no one, who is supporting carhart mandating vaccines, actually wears carhart. Carhart was a working mans clothes. Guess not anymore. They too, just like redwing, will no longer be receiving my company's support.

The guys in the RR Buildings YouTube channel recommend them and it looks like all their models are white.

They must be the last company out there still using White people to model their gear, I see dirty looking niggers on every outdoor site now

oh ffs redwing too? what did they do?

Redwing's quality has gone through the floor. From high dollar 2408's to there chinese brand shoes. They don't last nearly as long as they used to. Final straw was the sole falling off after 6 months 5 days. Redwing wouldn't warranty what was clearly their poor workmanship. Too much money to be treated to that.

I’ve been wearing RR slip on boots since I was 18, every pair lasted 8-10 years. Granted, I wore them until they were just about falling off my feet. They were always a motherfucker to break in, at least six months before they’d begin to draw up to fit your feet. Then it was like wearing moccasins that only got even better with time. I’m one year into the sixth pair I’ve owned. That’s six pairs of boots my entire adult life. The ONLY foot coverings I’ve ever worn except for a dress shoe for weddings or funerals. I’ve worked construction and mining my entire life so these boots haven’t lived a life on carpet. This sixth pair, costing nearly $300 broke in less than six months and the tread is nearly gone already after a year. The heel cup leather already has worn through to the outer main leather. At this rate I doubt I’ll get four years out of them. To add, all the previous pairs I never put anything on them to preserve the leather, waterproof or anything. Never had them resoled, just wore them until they fell apart at the seams. There was always sole left, albeit very thin. Every time I went in for new ones the clerk would look up my name and then be shocked at how long I got out of a pair. This pair I can tell are going to be a disappointment and I had figured them to be the pair I take my last steps in. Not so sure now….the quality just isn’t there.

I have a couple boots from their heritage line that seem to be good quality, haven't tried any of their other boots. My pair of Vasque hiking shoes have held up well. Do you know if Danner still make good boots?

Ive always avoided carhartt just the same as Nike and other top brands. No real reason other than "everyone wears it so I dont."

Now I have a good reason.

Never found them to be worth a shit myself. Tried them early on in life. Uncomfortable to work in and about as shitty as you can get against the elements. Everything about them is wrong for their intended use as far as I’m concerned. I see now that they are try’n to up their game a bit with some newer materials and designs, but they ain’t even close. Fuck Carhartt, they’ve done nothing for the working man, but take his money for inferior product year after year with no innovation in design or material.

We, and the medical community, continue to believe vaccines are necessary

Cognitive dissonance is very difficult to overcome. And this is what many companies adhere to. No thanks.

I was literally just about to go replace mine, I guess I'll have to find an alternative now.
