OK, let's waste everyone's time

Why did this virus come around during election time just like every other "major" virus?

viruses are random... this one cycled around the bat ecosystem until it jumped into humans, go look at the origin timeline https://www.nature.com/articles/s41564-020-0771-4

"Oh that's wrong..."

Why did flu disappear for a year?

because this: https://www.hsph.harvard.edu/news/hsph-in-the-news/a-sharp-drop-in-flu-cases-during-covid-19-pandemic/

"Oh that's wrong..."

Why did they tell us that the shot would make us immune

they didn't, all vaccines do is create an immune response, how well that performs would have been unknown at the start. That's why everyone is so interested in how they perform against each variant - because they don't know.

"Oh that's wrong..."

Why are they changing up the "social distancing" for economical reasons?

for the same reason that trump ponced around without wearing a mask and said it'll be fine, he wanted you stay working to make his figures look good - If we all kept as safe as possible we'd be broke. Capitalism expects a certain level of human attrition to make money, that's why you get almost no holidays

this is the deadliest virus ever

nobody said that, the problem has always been that if enough people exponentially get sick then we run out of beds. That is always the problem with any virus, keeping it manageable, it's irrelevant if you die or not, it's how many resources you require while ill.

Why did Faucci tell us that masks don't help so don't buy them up

same as the UK did, if people hoovered up all the N95's there would be none left for nurses. Dead nurses might mean everyone dies. It was managing risk, and they were hoping you were dumb enough not to notice the risk. Notice that rich people all had N95 on day one.

Why did they say the first shot would make everyone immune while passing out a punch card for further shots?

all viruses mutate and all vaccines lose their effectiveness, until you know what you are dealing with that that's standard procedure.

Typhoid and tick-borne encephalitis vaccines needs a booster every three years. Hep B needs 2 boosters.

during a global pandemic a virus will mutate faster (more hosts) and may become more virulent, so a greater level of immunity is required to slow the spread

If we don't know what level of immunity is required or how to achieve that, then just repeating what we have developed so far is our only solution. Like we don't know how to prevent the common cold other than maybe taking vitamin C

If you can still transmit the virus after getting the shot, why are places only testing the "unvaxxed"

That appears to be an American health policy? it makes sense if you have a lot of unvaccinated people, otherwise it doesn't really. We test everyone I think

Why didn't those make shift tents get filled?

do you say the same when an Army base has empty hospital beds? No, you are glad they had overcapacity, this is what emergency planning looks like
