I got ridiculously sick on New Years even in 2019. It literally came on within hours. By midnight I was feverish and ready for bed. I slept for the next 36 hours straight, then puked as soon as I woke up, and had a lingering cough for the next 2 weeks. I haven't had so much as slight sniffles since.
