"The zoo did not have a timeline for when vaccinations will take place."

...which means they haven't happened yet.

https://www.nbcdfw.com/news/local/14-year-old-giraffe-dies-at-dallas-zoo-3rd-giraffe-death-this-month/2794188/

"The zoo said that since both necropsies of both Jesse and Auggie showed liver damage, they were examining whether the giraffes could have been exposed to a toxin of some sort through food, exhibit space or foreign objects. The zoo will also test for Zoonotic diseases."

https://dallas.culturemap.com/news/city-life/10-26-21-dallas-zoo-giraffe-auggie-died/ "Auggie, who the zoo said died of age-related issues." "Marekani, who was euthanized by the zoo in early October after suffering an unexplained injury they could not fix." "Jesse died after exhibiting symptoms that “closely mirrored” what another giraffe, 19-year-old Auggie, experienced"

in fact a whole bunch of animals have died at that zoo this year from random stuff, most zoos are basically clownshows for humans, you can't put wild animals in a few acres and expect any of them to be happy.

poal really needs to stop grasping at random shit that agrees with its bubble

Did you see the dates on the meme? Clearly they were jabbed before they died. DUH!

I was a zookeeper at two different zoos in my youth and you could not be more wrong.

Ok wiseguy, how many of the shots have you gotten?

September 1, 2021 "The zoo did not have a timeline for when vaccinations will take place."

it's not even a human vaccine https://edition.cnn.com/2021/07/07/us/zoo-animal-covid-vaccine-trnd/index.html

"Zoetis donated more than 11,000 doses to almost 70 zoos and wildlife sanctuaries across the country as a part of an experimental vaccination effort authorized by the US Department of Agriculture. "This is a vaccine that was developed for animals by the Zoetis company,"

so, 11,000 jabs given, one dies from liver failure due to old age, one dies from an unknown liver failure that's 0.02% and it's not even a remotely proven link

three giraffes died in a week in 2011, did poal blame that on Libyan airstrikes too? In the wild, giraffes have a life expectancy of about 25 years, but they rarely live that long in captivity, where they are highly prone to health problems and injuries - no captive giraffes have ever been released into the wild. There's a whole bunch of research on behavioural problems in captivity.

this thread is peak poal

I love the fact check; there truly isn’t enough of that, but…

..which means they haven't happened yet

I don’t agree; it 100% does not mean that. It means they didn’t release whether or not it had happened. It’s speculation on either side.

you can't put wild animals in a few acres and expect any of them to be happy.

Again, I don’t disagree, but at the same time you don’t expect three giraffes to drop dead within a month. I’m not saying it was the vac - especially the one that had a broken leg, but “age related issues” is awfully unspecific.

true but if they announce they are going to do it they are also probably going to announce that they have done it. Free publicity. And I'd guess that organising that and finding supplies is going to take some time as they are prioritising pavement apes at the moment

but at the same time you don’t expect three giraffes to drop dead within a month.

It's reasonable to speculate that just two unexplained deaths (one was just an injury and later euthanised) where both were liver related, is more likely to be something they both ate and that it was specific to giraffes. "zoo is investigating possible exposure to a toxin or pathogen"

nobody on poal is an expert on giraffe pathology, despite what +10 people will claim in response to this post, a crab died too, but again it was just an injury caused by that giraffe that slipped on a slope

There was a zoo in UK where 57 of their 305 animals died in 2018. Zoos are just shitty places in general

This isn't the stupidest tinfoil bullshit on poal this week, but they are all to be found in the vax subforums, poal needs to get a grip

poal needs to get a grip

I can get on board with that. None here trust CNN for a reason; we should apply that same logic to all 'sources.'

maybe later. but not during NNN.

If I had to hazard a guess I'd say

  1. the regime is dead broke.

  2. its going to implode big time and collapse like a black-hole of purified misery into absolute dogshit sovietization

  3. the zoos are dependent on the public dole, and probably like everything else, eyeballs deep in all sorts of crime-rings, fraud, and back room self-dealing.

  4. zoos bumping off animals because the game of musical chairs is in effect over, and this is them deconstructing the circus without bothering to take down the tent or tell the patrons that the show is over.

If I'm right, we'll see a lot of other tax-funded largess-dependant businesses and institutions experience declines, mass firings, walk outs, bankruptcies, open looting and scandals, and so on.

largess-dependant businesses

It always surprised me that 'coffee houses' were one of the first businesses to get emergency covid funding. Like shit is hitting the fan but you want to save the livelihoods of a bunch of useless gender studies graduates?

Same for tattooists and a whole bunch of other useless people, who only exist because no one has any idea what to spend money on other than walkabout coffee or scratching a pokemon on their leg.

We are so far from a society that has any meaning now

Doesn't surpririse me.

Covid is communism.

"Emergency authorization" for anything is the occupation rewarding its own base.

well papayas can catch covid so pretty soon they will be injecting all our food

Paid to not understand the choices they make.

Notice how the headline is sure to specify a COVID-19 vaccine specially made for animals however the same media continues to call Ivermectin a horse dewormer when people take it.
