If you go , it says there were 209 death in Illinois over the last 7 days (I assume Oct 23-29). It also says 70.3% of the eligible population is vaccinated. Going shows 181 people dying from Oct 21-27 inclusive. It is worth noting that the Illinois site has the total from Oct 23-29 at 183. I know I'd get fired if I was producing numbers inconsistencies in the range of 15%, but I guess that's acceptable for "science" these days.
This still shows the vax a not very effective, but I'm not seeing where they got their 117 deaths number. This is not me advocating for the vax because I believe a true analysis of deaths would point to a whole lot of people dying from strokes, heart attacks, and other side effects which dramatically tip the scale in favor of not getting the vax.
