Everyone hated Comcast, I still do.
When it was about two weeks away from their name change my sister had just moved and said when the Comcast guy came he told her there were exciting things on the way lmao.
I said, they’re changing their name and providing the same crappy overpriced services.
She wouldn’t believe me because why would the tech lie lmao.
She still loves xfinity it’s so much better then Comcast.
And if you ever meet a Comcast upper executive or a group of them they’re dicks
I ran into a group while out one night a few years ago. When they said they worked for xfinity I said, I’m sorry lol.
They went on some huge rant, I said you just laid off over half your long term employees claiming you needed a reduction in your workforce, some had worked for you over 15-20 years. Then a few months later you start a hiring program and replaced them with lower wage workers.
That’s just business and happens, but not to you right?
Then they asked if I had xfinity lol. I said you mean Comcast, never again, I use X and get a gig up and down for a fraction of your asymmetrical capped data.
Then Two of them start calling me a pirate lmao, I don’t need super upload speeds to pirate. It’s 2018, people want to upload high quality videos from their phones and not have it take a day instead of a few minutes with faster uploads.
Anyways once three of them walked away a woman executive that was with them stayed and was extremely polite and just sat and talked and asked why I needed faster uploads and I said the same thing, 4K or 1080 60fps phone videos take forever on slow connections. My GF and her work friend make multiple YouTube tutorial videos for their career a week and get millions of views and a 30-60 minute video would take forever to upload.
I said these guys act like it’s 2001 and everyone is pirating when you can pay a dollar or two to rent a movie. But you can’t even do that with your service without going over data caps.
She then said she had a secret, they were going to be releasing symmetrical gig service without data caps in the very near future lmao. She was nice so I didn’t argue with her, maybe possibly for 100’s of dollars a month but I only pay 79.99.
She apologized for their behavior, I said I was used to it. I used to have to call Comcast customer service and she laughed.
