When it was all ethnic Europeans, America truly was a successful multicultural society. We had anglos, celts, italians, etc etc all very distinct cultures living together like Europe 2.0. If only they knew then what we know now.
This part I will agree with. American politics is a proxy for racial headcount unless something changes. '65 and '86 immigration acts should have never been signed.
