I recall seeing examples in gorillas and maybe penguins, but it’s not common. Outside of that, I’ve never heard of it - either as a dominance thing or a pleasure thing. Nature wouldn’t support wasting time and energy on something that didn’t perpetuate the species. Of course the left would reply that we are more intelligent than animals, but that glosses over the nature vs nurture /born this way aspect of things.
