I’m Aussie and I’m 100% for Americans having guns, at one stage I was over the top anti gun, put a hell of a lot of effort in arguing they were evil, you all would have thought I was a shill for sure haha But after speaking(arguing) with a few yanks online and doing my own research I found my opinion didn’t match the reality so I swallowed my pride and admitted I was wrong on the issue.
With that said I still don’t think Aussies should have or even want guns. The thing I didn’t take into account with my initial anti gun stance is culture, for Yanks owning a gun isn’t just something to do, it’s practically a requirement for being an American if you are a sincerely patriotic one. You guys fought hard for what you have, I believe you had 3 major wars all while you were barely a country so it’s part of your national psyche to fight and I applaud that.
Something most people don’t know is that Australia is the only country that didn’t start with a war and it has never even had a civil one. Guns and fighting authority are not in our make up, I had always believed defiance of authority was part of our character but the past 18 months have blown that illusion. Guns are no good if no one has the will or organisational backing to use them. And honestly, from what I’ve seen the past year I extra glad we don’t have guns because I’m no longer confident most Aussies are on the right side or even of sound mind. It’s likely more than half would be fighting for the gov.
I know you yanks see no guns as being cucked but Aussies just don’t care, when we had port Arthur there’s was barely a blip from anyone when they banned guns, hardly anyone had them in the first place!!!
You guys are passionate about guns because you know they are necessary to preserve your way of life. Aussies are indifferent to them because we have never had to learn that lesson.
Australians really are letting themselves down on the world stage.

If you have them, When do guns come into play? Do you actually use them to stop what’s coming? Do you use them to create a stalemate on the streets when what’s coming gets here? Or are they for a heroic last stand when everything is already lost?
It seems to me like if guns were gonna be the solution it would have already happened.

We had a bunch of gun owners bring their weapons to protest at the capital building in Virginia. The governor of Virginia sent them home, then laughed at them on national television and then did what he wanted to do anyway. What did those gun owning patriots do? Obeyed. They did nothing.
Then Republicans talkedendless shit about the BLM riots and antifa. “Better not come to my town!” Guess what? One guy fought back. One.
It’s a massive coincidence the Democrats never sent BLM or antifa or any of those thugs into any town wherethere was even one shit talking Republican! Not one! Thousands upon thousands of Republicans talking shit about “don’t come to my town” and they avoided each and every single town where there was even one big talking Republican! Pussies. Then they backed the biggest con artist shit talker of all time -he didn’t do one thing he promised but these people can’t stop lapping his fucking orange asshole because he says things that makes them smile. In fact the biggest disaster, I would say the three biggest disasters in our nations history against our individual liberties happened while he sat there and watched.
If someone they didn’t like was in the White House during lockdowns, quarantine of healthy people, church closures, school closures, they would be demanding that asshole uses his emergency powers to stop governors from violating the constitutional rights of their citizens. But instead you know what they did? They actually made excuses for him! Called him helpless! His own voters think he’s helpless and that’s a good defense of him! Holy fucking shit.
I’ve never had one of them explain to me how it was a good thing that he gave federal funds to governors who are raping their own citizens rights and ripping up the constitution right in front of his big fat stupid bloated orange face. Not one of them can explain that.

Mountains upon mountains of excuses for a complete failure and now their solution is to put him back into the place where he was when he failed miserably for four years and was supposedly helpless!

Politicians pretend to be on their side for about two months, raise millions of dollars, and then don’t deliver and they fall for it again two weeks later. I’ve never seen a group of people so goddamn fucking stupid in my fucking life. And they have the guts to call the other side stupid! Holy shit. It’s just unbelievable.
