To be fair to him, he's one of the ones who has been reporting most hard about the condition of the border. It's a puzzle of how much should one trust him to do anything. *If* he gets into office, will he have any power to make any changes? Because the Prime Minister in the UK is not like the US president who can wield absolute power. The Prime minister has to get the majority of the house of commons on his side before any decision is made. As such any leader voted into power has to be much more tactful in how they approach topics and has to "set the land" and measure the temperament of the country before they can make a move. So Farage I think has a pretty good understanding of what the average Brit thinks but the MSM in the UK tries to portray him as Far Right. Arguments against the BNP (and Britain First) is I don't think they really had a plan or understanding of UK politics to make changes. They didn't understand the broad scope of the temperament of the UK so they acted directly which the MSM found easy to criticise and tell the people that "They're disagreeable" which turned people off on the party. Nigel is not so much - he seems to more have his shit sorted out. He's more into the politics for the fun of it. I think he lives quite comfortably but enters politics because he has a passion for the "Old English". I'd say UK politics is much more of a popularity contest than in US because the demographics of the UK are a lot smaller. I think a number of people are much more disenfranchised to politics in the UK but in the US there are still a considerable number of people who believe in the system... I think. I also think it's a bit more difficult to get a temperament check of the nation - like what are the major issues besides border control and gun control? And even those are compartmentalised down into states that the president has to manage. I just mean to say over all, in my mad ramblings, that the US and UK people do not act in the same manner and the political rules have to be handled differently. I wish we could just kick out all the non-celts, non-britons, non-saxons, and non-nords. I do think we should bring back the gallows for all the traitorous MPs. I think the main problem is any disenfranchised citizens who would be willing to vote probably won't vote for any party... I find myself too tired for the bullshit in politics...
